Toxteth Kindergarten is community based centre. We pride ourselves on delivering personalised service and respond to the needs of the children and parents alike.

What began as an idea in 27 years ago has turned Toxteth Kindergarten into a much sort-after early childhood learning environment.

Management
Toxteth Kindergarten is an Incorporated Body managed by a Management Committee which consists of both parents and staff. The committee is responsible for the financial affairs of the kindergarten and oversees the general running of the service, in consultation with the Director.
Awards and Media Releases
1998 and 2000 winner of the NSW Children’s Week Award for Excellence in Children’s Services and Management. The 2011 Director was nominated in the 2011 Australian Family Child Care Awards in the category of the Children’s Service Director of the Year. Design Award for Toxteth Kindergarten at Annandale
Leichhardt Council’s Mayor Cr Darcy Byrne and Deputy Mayor Linda Kelly were on hand to celebrate the opening of the new ‘Ladybird Woodland Play and Nature Garden’ at Toxteth Kindergarten, Annandale.
The garden won a Kidsafe 2012 National Playspace Design Award for innovative design, has transformed a narrow concrete corridor into a natural woodland with a winding pathway, bridges, wooden mushroom seating and a movable tree trunk forest of plants. Read more ›
